I reall like ur translation . Though This song was actually Written For his Best Friend .. Fom his Point of View. His Best Friend went Through a Life Of Hardship, Had A cold Father And Mother And Ended up on The Road Of Drugs, Thats is What The Song is About . It is No Autobiography.

Why don't I agry much with your translation,
for example:

Καημος (=longing for something you want to do or wish you can do) is not pain and suffering
στεναγμός (=sigh in english) is not heartache and there is nowhere that says that it was the στεναγμός of his mother (why not of all the people?) (and why is the bridge tight?????the song doesn't say that)

Whenever I translate a song I try to stick to the song (different people will give different interpretations to the same songs), and not what it would sound better off. I know that some times the translations cannot be good, there are words that cannot be translated in English in a short phrase
