Hi to all
I wish to convey a formal seasonal greeting in Greek. I believe there is "modern" Greek and "traditional" Greek. I would like to say :- Wishing you a happy and prosperous new year, and continued success for 2006 Or a similar but more appropriate message. Many Thanks Steve |

You can write:
“Σας εύχομαι ένα χαρούμενο και ανθηρό νέο έτος και συνεχής επιτυχία για το 2006” if you are referring to many people, or “Σου εύχομαι ένα χαρούμενο και ανθηρό νέο έτος και συνεχής επιτυχία για το 2006” if you are referring to one person. Instead of “wishing you a happy…” you can write “wishes for a happy…” which is: “Ευχές για ένα χαρούμενο και ανθηρό νέο έτος και συνεχής επιτυχία για το 2006” Hope that helps.
