seeking a book by a romanian author
Hello everyone,
I am looking for a book by a Romanian author, but don't remember the name. The double problem, I don't remember the name of the book- It is a book I read in 1989, as a Bulgarian translation. The book is about a group called " the cherry street gang", composed of teenagers who go on a most wonderful and strange expedition.... i think it was to a castle, on a mountain... it's misterious and wonderfully written... Can anyone tell me if it rings any bells? romanian writers? adventure books about teenagers?? I would be very grateful... |

The novel is called ''Cireşarii''(i don't know the right translation in English but it means people who collect cherries) and it s written by Constantin Chiriţă and it has 5 volumes..i don't know the litterary translations for the novels:
1.Cavalerii florii de cireş --- The cherry-flower knights 2.Castelul fetei in alb --- The castle of the girl dressed in white 3.Roata Norocului --- The luck wheel 4. Aripi de zăpadă --- Snow wings 5 Drum Bun,cireşari! --- Good-bye ,cherry-people! |

I did not know it was translated in bulgarian...cool..;
 here it used to be a cult serie for many of the teenagers during Ceausescu... I don't know if the younger generation is still interested in it |
