Lina is a glorious beacon of light
Lina is a glorious beacon of light ![]() |
Mine comes from the fact that my name is often pronounced as in Italian or Spanish : "Paulina".
So, to make it short, I thought "Lina" was well ( I hate being nicknamed "Polly" or, even worse, "Paupau" ! ) and other people start calling me this way. After that, I learned "Lina" means "soft" in Arab ( thanks Asma ! ), which is not quite my temper, but is still nice anyway ! ![]() |

@Lina:
I already know for your nickname as I asked you before, and you told me ![]() I thinki Polly is quiet nice not better than LIna though! Paupau is totally "lol"!@Chevaliertuc: Does tuc then have something to do with your name? Is it like a childish way of misprunouncing it? I didn't ask you: why would anyone call you "truc"? ![]() |

A girl whom i already have called like that wanted to make me angry that way O: ) but she didn't succeed :P
This pronounciation comes from Astérix ^^ Hmmm, the girl and another friend was joking about the name of a teacher "Mahy" that sounds like "Marie" pronounced by the black pirate. then they thought about truc, and "t'uc" was nice because of the cake... ![]() Last edited by Chevaliertuc; 07-29-2006 at 12:32 PM. |
