I've checked with my tourist agency that there'll be only one morning for free shopping near L'Opera, Galerie Lafayette. I'll be staying 2 nights in Paris. Where can I find cheese, desserts (cakes and tarts) and chocolates (dark chocolates, not too expensive) in Paris?
The tour will go to the usual sightseeing spots as usual. Perhaps I can bring some dried duck meat back home. They'll take us to the usual designer labels' shops and I'm in the least interested in them. Where can I go in Paris besides the usual tourist hot spots? Where can I shop for food?![]() |

Thanks, FD.
How about tarts and cakes, like strawberry tarts? I've seldom seen shops selling desserts in France, in fact, though yr country is famous for desserts. Also dried preserved duck meat, as I'd seen in the hallway of the Metro, I guess my dad would love it. The usual HK tourist would be lining up in front of Louis Vuitton but not me.![]() |
