Default a good way to learn another language?

i'm learning english all the time and i'm a gamer.....
yesterday i wanted to play to a game (this game's name is "baldur's gate",a old game) and installed it in french of course....but, by a strange chance, this game needed a patch to increase the stability of it.....after a quick install of this european patch, all the sentences were in english and the voices too....i'm not irritated and i find this situation funny......

and you,do you think that we can learn languages with the video games?

Hi blacky

it as been a while,
to partially answer your question I would say that languages are made to send messages back and forth to anybody else. I guess I don't know pretty much video games but messages use to be only one way, from the computer to you. So you might understand pretty well languages but be unable to build your own sentences thereafter.

Am I totally wrong?

I guess it's fun when you can play games and learn languages. i had this Selingua Columns game which is like tetris but slightly different : you can download it HERE
you may not like it, but it's just an example of playing while learning. if i find something more interesting i will post it here ok.
