Hi!
My Grandma got a letter from Poland, again. But she can´t translate it. It would be very nice if someone could translate it for her. It´s one letter, but its longer than it was last time. And a little verse from a postcard. Here is the letter: http://home.arcor.de/ottowaalkes/polish.jpg Here it the second page of it: http://home.arcor.de/ottowaalkes/polish2.jpg And here is the verse from the postcard: http://home.arcor.de/ottowaalkes/polish3.jpg And on the front of the card it it said: Wesotego Alleluja! Translation please into German or English, thank you very much!!!!! Best wishes, *elle* from Germany |

This is the first part of translation - the rest (postcard) after a few minutes
![]() Dear Mrs Erika, Thank you very much for the postcard with best wishes and for the money which you have sent to Jagoda. She was verry happy because of money – she always buys something to school thanks to it. I'm sorry that we haven't written for such a long time but we both with my husband work and sometimes we're short of time. We're very glad that you will be in Poland in June. You are welcome, we invite you very very much to our house for a coffee or something like that. We're waiting for you. We will meet better at last. Easter is coming so we wish you a good time, a good health and a lot of smile and happy arrival to Poland. Jagoda has a sister – Anastazja who is 6 years old and she goes to the infant school. We live at the second floor of the old tenement house. I don't know if you speak Polish because we don't speak your language. It is our niece who translates your letter. Please, write a long letter about you and your family, if you have children, grandchildren or some family in Poland.Your letters are welcome. Mrs Erika, we're waiting for YOU and once again we send greetings for Mr Herman. Once again best wishes for Easter, tasty Easter eggs (it's the polonisme I think – sorry) and happy Hallelujah (also polonisme:s?). We send you warm-hearted greetings and love, Mother of Jagoda – Lucyna Korczyńska with husband Sebastian and with the children. alice (sorry for my not the best English once again :s)

The rest (the postcard):
Calm, cheerful and bright Easter - full of love and family warm from Jagoda, her sister Anastazja and her parents. I hope I was helpful, best regards, alice.
