Welcome and enjoy your staying!
I've studied Russian in school, but I can really say I don't know Russian at all(I'm not boasting ^^), maybe some words. What I'm trying to say is that if you know to do phrases in English it means you're on the good road, I mean you know English hundreds of times better than I know Russian.

Thanks jukka! I'm just trying to make short phrases and use easy words

But I like English! I think it's a very beautiful language so I'll use it even in the wrong form

! I'm sure you know more than "some words" in Russian! But Russian language really difficult... even for people in Russia

English isn't very easy too. I try to learn English many years but it still hard to use "past continuous" or "future in the past" tenses=)))

I don't know the tenses either but I know how to use them(not always

So don't be afraid if now it's hard for you to use some tenses. With time it will be like a reflex and you'll never know which tense is which but you'll know how to use it.
Maybe only if you'll become a teacher you'll know all the technical stuff

I think you're right and I just need more practice and more study of English. Good advice for me is "start to think in English". I just don't know so far how to do it
