hello.. my name is Martha and I'm from Mexico but I would like to learn some turkish coz I have a boyfriend who is from Istanbul, Turkey.. we met in Vancouver, Canada we were studuying english but I'm not so good on that haha, we always talk in english coz we don't have another choice, he knows some spanish words but I don't know nothing in turkish and sometimes he speak some turkish with me and I freak out coz I don't understand nothing! for example today he wrote me something when we were talking on the msn and I need some help to translate that for me please... actually this is the text:

seni gerçekten ölesiye seviyorum ve aslada unutmayacağım sen benim bebeğimsin ve öylede kalacaksın bi tanem benim

and like Puslu I would like to learn at least some lovely turkish words to say them to my boyfriend.. I know just this words "seni seviyorum", "askim", "merhaba", and I don't remember what else haha but please I need help!

Well your story sounds just great, did you have a look at the turkish forum ( http://help.berberber.com/tercuemeye-yard-m-turkish/ ), Senni (the moderator) stuck some words for lovers here
He is giving some online lessons as well
else you can anlways ask for help on this forum, people around will be glad to help you

Hey Martha,

The Turkish forum is really a great place to start and there are some references to other sites where you can learn more. If you go to the link FD suggested there is also another thread listed called "am i right?" (http://help.berberber.com/showthread.php?t=8113). Some one had asked about how to say some phrases about kissing and I happened to know some. Anyway, there are some phrases in there as well. However, the links that Senni provided are well worth the look! I would just suggest looking through all the threads b/c there is a lot of good info.
