Do you know Turkey ?

Hi everyone,
Merhaba

I am new here. My aim here is to discuss about Turkey, to learn Turkish language and talk about other things, in French 'cause I am French.
I love talking in foreign languages.
I am certainly going to Turkey soon.

I'm Portuguese, but I've already had the chance to go to Turkey! It was in my summer holidays, in 2004! I must tell you that I really liked this country! I went to Istanbul, Ankara, Capadocia, Izmir, Ephesus... Amazing country, indeed! So, go ahead!

Hmmm...also,i am wondering,how did you decide to learn Turkish?You know,Turkish is not a so popular language as french or english.
I asked this a bit strange question because i get an impression as if you wanna learn Turkish a loooottttttt.

I know that there are always some reason to start to learn a foreign language.For example,i wanna learn French a lot,because french language always looked me so attractive.Also,i love Paris....Hope i will visit one day!Nowadays,this is the second thing i want a lot.

Anyway,i started to speak a lot.I must stop!

No, I've never been in Turkey, but I will go for sure

one day... who knows?

As for the language, it's a nice one but too hard for me

also and the only word I know is "merhaba".

Who don't know Turkey??

I am another lover of this country (actually I love all places) but Turkey has got her own "charme si je peux le dire", Turkey is the country of one of bigs Islamic empires, nice people (I talk about wich is known in here) and what else... I wish I could visit it.. I have many things in my mind but words are not enough

The language is nice, I like it a lot especially when I understand some words.

have a looooooot of fun in your trip !!

Me devany! I come to know it from meryem our friend and from a serial called :The lost years (really a very beatiful story but a sad one). A beautiful country with a mixture of civilizations
