Smile Hello! Merhaba!

I just wanted to say Hello and introduce myself. I am currently going to school and soon to finish up my masters in manufacturing engineering in May.

I primarily speak english; born and raised in the United States. However, I have been interested in learning Turkish for quite some time. I don't know much at all, just a few phrases, but figured this would be a good place to start.

I look forward to meeting and posting with all of you!

Kendine iyi bak,
Puslu

Thank you! I am glad to be here!

Actually, I did see the Lesson forum by Senni. That's is how I got introduced to the forum altogether. I had been searching the net for a way to translate a few phrases I've seen and thought I would try it out. So far he has been a big help!

It's very nice to meet you!

Bahia, I am curious...What does your nick mean ? Did you know Bahia in Brazil is a nice Northeast state? Where there is Carnival for a long time, more than in Rio?

Thank you Bahia, it would be great if you would help! Also, thank you for the correction on Kendine iyi bak, I will definitly make note of it. Your right, from what I've seen it's a very beautiful language and culture with A LOT of history. I can't wait to learn more!

I assume your native language is French, is that correct? Why did you decide to learn Turkish, if you don't mind me asking?
