Hello
My name is Lynn G, I live in Penang Island of Malaysia. I do mainly subtitles translation for movies, talk shows etc. Languages uses : English - Malay Malay - English Chinese - English Chinese - Malay I currently work full time but not as a translator. This translating job is mainly to supplement with my current income. I hope to get more interaction, get to know some people and some job opportunities perhaps on freelancing basis. Thank you. |

![]() hope you'll like the forums. I am sure you'll be of great help for translations in the Chinese section. We do not have a Malaysian section yet due to very few requests if not any. However could be interesting to learn more about the language and culture there ![]() and if in turn you need help I am sure that lots of people will be glad to give you a hand ![]() talk to you soon around |

How close is Malay to Indonesian. Yes, I agree it's about time Nusantara people (I think that's how Indonesia and Malaysia is called in much wider terms) started their own section. Bahasa is language of people there? Or not? Thank you. Good luck! ![]() |
