I'm Fred from shanghai,china,just finished my college study in june.It's the first time i wrote in this forum.i'd like to make friends with you all,especially those interested in china.and i want to communicate with you,whether in english or in chinese.and i hope that i can improve my english through this way.

I wanna know that how many years does it take to learn chinese?For a froeign people especially using latin alphabet.For you too.How long does it take you to leanr chinese alphabet???

in china there's kinds of dialects,and in my hometown people even don't speak mandarin,so i didn't learn chinese alphabet before i went to elementary school.compared with the chinese character,i think chinese alphabet is much easier,because it just took me several months to master it,and the character took me several years.
to your first question,for i'm not familiar with any latin people,so i cannot answer this question.for me,these's chinese courses in elemantary\junior\senior high school,so i learnt chinese for 12 years.

we learn turkish in 6-7 months.Your work is so hard.
I live in Konya and here there is lots of chinese and japenese people.I love all of you.You are so sweet.

Hey, I'm a Shanghainese, too.
Exalted didn't mean Latin languages. You surely know Latin alphabet. Because English uses it.
BTW, welcome to International Forum. Hope you can learn what you wanna know and make friends with these kind foreign friends.
