I am originally from India, living in Nevada, USA. I was looking for Finnish speaking people in Reno/Carson/Tahoe area and stumbled on this site. If you are one of those people, please feel free to contact me. And if you need help in Finnish-English-Tamil-Hindi-Malayalam translation I would be glad to help as well. thanks.

Thanks to you both.. I will look in there (Indian languages forum) and see whats going on .. I am still new around here and have yet to figure out how you write in these forums using native language script..

Welcome, my name is Jonne (living in Finland at the moment).. Where did you learn Finnish language? Did you study it? Do you have finnish family members?

And for the devanagari/tamil scripts, go to start-settings (or something like that)-control panel-regional and language settings-languages.. there you can add/delete languages..

Hi Jonne

I used to work in Hyvinkaa more than 10 years ago. I lived there for 3 years and along the way learnt the language. It was so much easier to speak with the Finns in Finnish. They talked more openly then. Oh, I miss those days.
