Hi all,
Alex here, volunteer translator FR <-> EN, RU -> FR without a degree (college dropout

)
Looking for paid translation jobs (of course

) and looking to help others with translations too, if I can.
I work in the dairy products section of a general store and i'm hating almost every bit of it... actively looking for another planet to live on, without corporations or shareholders

I enjoy listening to and watching live bands, playing guitar, being a geek, discovering new worlds, watching the sky...
I hope I can contribute

Like the FD said, you will sure be helpful here, it's weird

that you want to live in a different planet especially that you live in Geneva, I think it's one of the best citiers in Europe. good luck translating

Hehe yes in some aspects Geneva is very nice I agree

But it's also chock-full of banks, financial institutions, and big people in ties driving (or being driven in) mercedes and bmw trucks and all striving to make more and more money for their shareholders. The contrast between these and the poorer strata of society is very apparent, and it makes for a not very pleasant "vibe" overall. I'm very sensitive to injustice and it hurts to see people begging in front of jewelry shops. I kinda hope that I'll live to see a more just distribution of riches. And I guess humans would find a way to pollute another planet faster than they did this one

But that's way off-topic, sorry

It's way down in the "2005" section of the smiley window, insert it with : grouphug : (without spaces)
