Yes he deserved a red card and yes France lost.
But this is a procedure question : did the FIFA use Video to decide to give a red card to Zidane ?
Why did they use video in that case and not in other cases ?
Why did not they grant us the goal against South Korea with the Video showing the ball in ?
Why didn´t they use video in Portugal-Nederland ?

my prefered footballer is ZIDANE because of all that he has done for his fench team and ohters team like baurdeau and juventus and real madrid

A question: Why do you (Adelle, monia and Lizzeh) have german players as favourite players, it is just interesting me, because I'm from germany ;-).
