I would like to know if it's possible to translate Isaiah 53:5
"By his wounds we are healed"

But he was wounded because of our transgressions, he was crushed because of our iniquities: the chastisement of our welfare was upon him, and with his stripes we were healed.

וְהוּא מְחֹלָל מִפְּשָׁעֵנוּ, מְדֻכָּא מֵעֲו*ֹנֹתֵינוּ; מוּסַר שְׁלוֹמֵנוּ עָלָיו, וּבַחֲבֻרָתוֹ נִרְפָּא-לָנוּ.

I'm just curious. Why is Hebrew written vertically? and if this were written vertically the beginning of the sentence would be on the top? is Aramaic also read from right to left?

Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic are not written vertically but horizontally.

But it is a fact that short vowels are written under the consonants for Hebrew and under or above for Aramaic and Arabic.

Except for religious scriptures, textbooks for learning the language or dictionaries, short vowels are usually not written at all.
