I am thinking of getting a tattoo in Hebrew but I want to make sure it is translated correctly and I also have some questions about it.

The word "provider"
and
The word "Adonai" or "Lord"

Also - I read that Hebrew is read from right to left, is that correct? And also if I were to take the writing and put it up and down on my ankle, would it change the meaning? Like the following example I am doing in English:

If I did that to a Hebrew word, would it change the meaning or make it wrong?
