destin is not fate, anyway the correct translation is - אני אדון לגורלי

It is - אני אדון לגורלי and not אני אדון לעצמי

אני אדון לעצמי - is I am the master fo myself.

You are wrong there, beky4. The French word "destin" means indeed "fate" especially in this context. The second last line of the Victorian poem Invictus is: "I am the master of my fate." This was translated in French as: Je suis le maître de mon destin.

I don't know Hebrew but I do know English, French and literature.
