Please wait for a native like beky4 who will give you a correct translation. It's obvious that bennyguangzhou has used an automated translator and since the Hebrew letters for some reason were corrupted he gave you the Latinised version of its output. 1. Hebrew is written from the right to the left. 2. The word "and" is English and not Hebrew.

I'm sure you don't want the "translation" of the Danish boy names Mathias and Villads but the transcription or transliteration of them, that is written in Hebrew letters. A translation of the names would be giving their meanings or their equivalents if there are any. I'm pretty sure there isn't an equivalent in Hebrew of the Nordic name Villads.

About the origin of the names Villads - Nordic Names Wiki - Name Origin, Meaning and Statistics Origin and Meaning Villads is the Danish short form of Willehadus, a Latinised form of the Old English name Willehad, a combination of VILL and HAD (source: Kristoffer Kruken og Ola Stemshaug: Norsk Personnamnleksikon,1995)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_(name) Quote: "The Hebrew name "מתיתיהו" (Matityahu) was transliterated into Greek to "Ματταθίας" (Mattathias), which was shortened to "Ματθαῖος" – (Matthaios), Latinised as Matthaeus, which became Matthew in English. Deceptively, it is therefore unrelated to θεῖος (theios) meaning divine (adjective, e.g. theology) or sulfur (Koine noun, e.g. thiol group)."
I have also seen the Hebrew rendering: מתתיהו ,מתיתיהו ‎ (Matityahu) but as I wrote above wait for the translation and transliteration of a person who knows Hebrew.

Hi

Thank U for your feedback, I'll waite..

About the names, Villads is nordic (I'm from Denmark) and can't find the correct translation, and read somewhere that the name has to be translated in another way, as you are writing..

Did not know about the "and" in english...

Thank U very much!!!
