Default Translation please

Hello,

Can someone please be kind enough to translate "Azizi" for me?
I need it for a tattoo, i would greatly appreciate it.

Also, i am planning on getting it vertically down the back of my arm, would it make sense? I know that it is written from right to left, so i just want to make sure, if it doesn't i can just do it from right to left.

It is a persian last name, as i am half persian. The problem is my father is a little rusty in terms of writing, haha. He can read it, but his writing already looks bad enough in any language. It looks as if a doctor wrote me a prescription, and those are never legible. Everytime he writes it for me it looks a little different, so i am a little skeptical. Well, thanks for the help.

Ok, I have taken a break from studying and my break consisted of learning the persian alphabet and trying to figure it out myself. It seems as though there are many rules, such as how a letter or character looks if it is in the begining, middle, or end. Also certian letters don't connect, and there are many letters or characters for what semes to be the same english letter translation. For example, z has "zal" "zeh" "zah" and "zad". I tried to form my last name and with all the rules and stuff i have ended up with 12 possibilities.

Can someone please tell me which one is correct, if any, hahaha?

it is for "Azizi"

1. آﺰﻴﺰﯽ

2. آﻀﻴﻀﯽ

3. آﮋﻴﮋﯽ

4. آﻈﻴﻈﯽ

5. آضیضﯽ

6. آﺬیذﯽ

Thank you, it actually took me a lot of time to formulate these alone, Not sure if the first letter is correct or not, because if it stands alone it is different, also, i have noticed that when some letters are combined something is put in between them. So i may either be missing something or have the "a" wrong in all of them, either way thank you.

Hello and welcome here:
It makes sense to some extent, but I recommend it from right to left, it looks better too.

Tell your father, he shouldn't feel bad about his bad handwriting, because even some educated people just chickenscratch, as we say in Persian, They write crabs and frogs, let alone others.

Well, actually none of them are quite right. Though the first variant seems quite like the correct one.

By the way, good luck in learning Persian....
