help with translation please

i'm wondering how you say "niloofar, a blessing from god" or something very similar. i dont know if there is a direct translation from persian to english, but anything would be of great help... thank you... its for a tattoo for my best friend

نیلوفر ، یک نعمت از خدا

Niloofar, yek ne'mat az khodaa.

thank you very much for the response! i "understand" it slightly, khodaa, means god and yek means one?... is that a dierct translation of my original phrase?

You have got it right, and yes it is a direct translation, would you like a more colloquial one?

i'm not sure, i would like one that sounds best or makes the most sense?. perhaps a colloquial translation might be better?

I will give you a more colloquial one, If you want it for a Persian friend then they probably like this one better, I think:

نیلوفر، نعمتی از طرف خدا

and this one down here means: a gift from god
نیلوفر، هدیه ای از طرف خدا

thank you again for your help, but i'm having a little bit of trouble understanding all of the words in the phrases you sent me... can give me a transliteration of those phrases, so i can comprehend them better. that would be greatly appreciated
