Hey everyone, bascially i think think 'alma' is spanish means 'soul', but my freind thinks it means 'heart', im pretty sure first and foremost it means soul, can anyone help settle the argument??!?!?!

Exactly, you are the one who is right. Alma is also a name given to girls as you probably know. "Con toda el alma", literally "with all one's soul", could be translated "whole-heartedly" in English. Maybe that's a reason for your friend to believe what he did. |
