I would say "Marvin, el extranjero." The connotation with the word "extranjero" is foreigner. If by chance you are wanting to indicate someone from another planet, you might want to say, "Marvin, el extranjero de otro planeta." Note that "planeta" is masculine.

Hi, indolence
You can say in Spanish: MARVIN EL MARCIANO ( = concretely from Mars) MARVIN EL ALIENÍGENA, or MARVIN EL EXTRATERRESTRE You can't say "Marvin, el extranjero de otro planeta". First, this is longer, but most important, "extranjero" is only for "someone from another country", not planet. Regards ![]() Last edited by Carlos; 11-22-2004 at 10:35 AM. |

Try a google search in Spanish for Warner Brothers...these cartoons are very popular everywhere and I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't already an "official" Spanish name for Marvin the Martian, as well as many other Warner Brothers characters.

In fact you got me curious, so I did it myself, and on this website you will find that Marvin the Martian is referred to as "el marciano Marvin." http://www.hoy.com.ec/sigloxx/0614.htm
