English to Japanese translation please ^^

I would like to translate an English phrase to Japanese, but... I have some problems with it ^^'
Could someone please translate it? (in hiragana and kanji if possible)

A good friend never leaves you. Maybe he will not always be by your side, but he will always be in your heart, as you will in his.

I can only get half of this.... up to "...by your side" but after that, I'm stumped.

親友は君と別れない。いつもすぐ側にいないけど、
しんゆうはきみとわかれない。いつもすぐそばにいないけど、
