I am a graphic designer and I am doing the logo for a Spanish company called Weyland-Yutani SRL. The owner wants the logo in Japanese and Spanish. I don't know japanese, but the name of this company is well known, since it is taken from a movie and I managed to find some translations on the internet.
I attached a logo GIF to this email. Here's the translation I came up with: ウェイランド湯谷合同会社 The last 4 characters are "Gōdō gaisha" which is what Wikipedia says is the japanese equivilent of a SRL (an SRL is a Limited Liability Company in Spanish). I just put the name all together, I didn't know if there is a space needed or anything. If someone could confirm whether I have done this OK, I would appreciate it. Thanks. I think you are all good. Unless they want you to use Katakana for the entire name, I think it looks fine.
