Looking specifically for something like a head wife of a harem (or at least the Western conception of it), instead of a divorced or otherwise previous wife. So like the most important (female) lover out of a group of lovers.
Any help? |

Well I will preface this by saying I am 99% sure that word or concept doesn`t exist in Japanese (similar to how it doesn`t really exist in English). But if I were to make one up, I would go with 先頭主婦 (せんとうしゅふ, sentoushufu). The term 先頭 means first, as in first in line or vanguard. 主婦 means wife. There is also a precedent for modifying 主婦, such as 兼業主婦 which mean ‘‘working wife or mother‘‘ and 専業主婦 which means housewife. So you may have to explain what it means the first time you use it, but I think a Japanese person would get the right inference from it.
