Smile Translation needed

I was wondering if anybody would be able to translate this into sanskrit for me:

'Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.'

If anybody can translate for me, it would be much appreciated

Candle is in Sanskrit सिक्थवर्ति (sikthavarti); litterally "wax-stick". This is a modern word. Compare Hindi मोमबत्ती (momabattī), which has the same litteral meaning. I will use the word दीप (dīpa), which means "lamp". In ancient India always a oillamp which burn like a candle.
A good translation would be:

एकस्मादेव दीपात्सहस्रशो दीपानामुद्दीपनेनापि न संक्षिप्यते तस्यायुः। विभाजनेन न जातु ह्रासमेति सुखम्।
ekasmādeva dīpāt sahasraśo dīpānām uddīpanenāpi na saṁkṣipyate tasyāyuḥ. vibhājanena na jātu hrāsam eti sukham.
