I'm very interested in learning to read/write sanskrit. But for now, if anyone could share any inspirational sayings or words with translation I'd love to read it!

Just a example which came into my mind:
विद्या विवादाय धनं मदाय शक्तिः परेषाम् परिपीडनाय।
खलस्य साधोर्विपरीतमेतत् ज्ञानाय दानाय च रक्षणाय॥
vidyā vivādāya dhanaṁ madāya śaktiḥ pareṣām paripīḍanāya.

khalasya sādhorviparitametat jñānāya dānāya ca rakṣaṇāya.

vidyā = knowledge
vivāda = debating.
vidyā vivādāya = your knowlegde only for debating
dhana = money, whealth
mada = intoxication, drinking, merrymaking
dhanaṁ madāya = your money only for having fun.
śakti = strenght
paripīḍana = injuring, tormenting
pareṣām = for others
śaktiḥ pareṣām paripīḍanāya = your strength only for injuring other people.
khalasya = of a wicked person
khala = villain, wicked
sādhoḥ = of a good, honest person.
sādhu = good, honest
viparīta = the opposite
etat = this
jñānāya = for wisdom
jñāna = wisdom
So, vidyā jñānāya = your knowledge for wisdom
dānāya = for charity
dāna = charity
So, dhanaṁ dānāya = your money, whealt for charity.
rakṣaṇāya = for protection.
rakṣaṇa = protection
So, śaktiḥ pareṣām rakṣaṇāya = your strength for protection other people.

Now you will be able to make your own translation.
It is about the difference between a good and a bad person.
How differenty they use their knowledge, whealth and strength.
