Hello.
Found this forum by fluke, hope someone can help me. A friends son got a tattoo in Sanskrit (at lest he thinks it's Sanskrit) in memory of his father. Can anyone tell me if it is actually in Sanskrit and if it makes sense? For all we know he might have some random combination of "cool looking" symbols tattooed on his arm. His mom is freaking out that he might be walking around with "public washroom" or "beef and broccoli" tattooed on his arm Thanks ![]() |

So it is unlikely to be Sanskrit. |

You were right, I went to a Tibetan forum and here is what someone said;
" Means to return or come back. It says "Chir Ong Wa". Not really Buddhist like Tibetan culture but....why not ? " Thank you very much for the referral . My friend will be relieved that the tattoo is correct and has a personal meaning for her and her son. By the way, the unicode didn't show up for me |
