Hi there everyone.
I am not very good in sanskrit. whatever exposure I have to it is in my school days when it was my third language. I have a doubt. Most of the strotas in sanskrit have namostute (sometimes its spelled inamastute on the net). I think the sandhi should be namah+tu+te And I woudl like to know exacty what each word in the sandhi means. are both namastute and namostute correct? A friend thinks it's nama + stuti (soem form there of). NOt correct - right? Or is it? Thx guys ... Sujata. |
