Default how to write a sanskrit name...

hello, i found out recently that my name (beryl, beril) is actually in the sanskrit language. i was wondering if anyone can show me how its written. here is some info i found online if it helps:

"Originally, the name 'beryl' came from India. It was derived from the Sanskrit word veruliyam, an old term for the gemstone chrysoberyl, from which the Greek word beryllos later developed. " gemstone.org

Right now, I am on a system in which there is no font using which I can write in Sanskrit. After a few hours, I will be on another system. Then I will post Beryl in Sanskrit, if nobody else has posted by then.

In the meantime, you can click on my signature. That will take you to a page from where you can download a software to convert any name from Roman script (English language) into Devanagari script (Sanskrit language).

In Sanskrit, वैदूर्यम् = vaidooryam = Lapis lazuli, a precious stone

hello. thank you so much for trying to help me and replying. though that looks very beautiful, i'm afraid lapis lazuli is a different gem than the one i'm looking for. it's a cat's eye. i'm looking for a beryl.

is there anyway you can help me with this information? -->Originally, the name 'beryl' came from India. It was derived from the Sanskrit word 'veruliyam', an old term for the gemstone chrysoberyl, from which the Greek word 'beryllos' later developed.

thank you again.
