Hi, all. I'm looking for Sanskrit ordinal numbers (first, second, third, etc) from 1 to 12. Preferably, I'd like IAST as opposed to Devanagari so I can figure out how to pronounce them :-), though I should probably ask, too, which syllable is pronounced in Sanskrit?

Wow. Devanagari is compact compared to English.
Thank your for your help. About emphasis -- how does it work in Sanskrit? That is, which syllable in those words is emphasized? I know that in Hindi at least, it depends mostly on the vowel sounds. Something about long and short vowels. |
