First off, thanks to everyone who runs this website and for giving everyone a wealth of reliable knowledge.
I'm new here so if I step on any toes, I really don't mean to and I'm sorry if I do. I was wondering if anyone could reconfirm that the Sanskrit word "bhUtadayA" means compassion (more specifically: compassion towards all creatures, universal benevolence) and if anyone could write it out in devanagari script as well. I realize there's a similar post for the translation of compassion already but this variation wasn't posted. Thank so much ![]() Last edited by egan; 02-06-2006 at 05:52 AM. |
