Thats great, I think it translates differently hey. One word in English doesnt necessarily mean one word in Sanskrit.
I just want to get it right, as its for a tattoo, and obviously there for a long time!! So what does pranayamam mean to you? If someone was able to read my tattoo in Sanskrit, how would it come across? |

I think that pranayamam would be a good choice.
It actually is the name of a form of breathing excercise.and prana means life in sanskrit. Its a very powerful technique which can cure almost all diseases.

You are the best ;o)
Thats what I am going with then. Im going to a place a called Brahma Kumaris Raja Yoga/Meditation Centre to learn how to perform it correctly, as I have heard of its benefits. You have been of a fabulous help and I thank you so much for your time. I hope I can get hold of you again for my next tattoo!!!! Cheers. |

Also श्वास is the derived word from this root verb meaning breath. It being a masculine word, its nominative singular is श्वासः NOT श्वासम्. There is NO word as श्वसिक. |
