the first one is kaalii ( long vowels)
the second one is kali ( short vowels) the short "a" is prononced like the "u" in "cut"

hi im mitz!!
could someone help me to translate this in to sanskrit? my folks went to india to translate this for me, but unfortunately they left the poster sized paper somewhere on their way back home!! i would like to frame this when translated.

"Grant me inner spiritual strength to resist temptation
And to control the mind.
Free me from egoism, lust, anger, greed and hatred,
Fill my heart with divine virtue"

thank u in advance!!

Hi there, the Sanskrit language is very interesting and beautiful. Could somebody please help me, I see free and freedom translated here, would "be free" be similar? Thank you.
