So you mean māyā . Māyā is not exactly illusion. But this is an other strory.
The whole must be in Accusative. It is a little part of a sentence. असुरम् (asuram) is accusative of असुरः (asuraḥ) which means a evil force, a devil. It is still not clear, because māyāsuram / मायासुरम् is not one word, but a combination of two loose words. put together due sandhi.
