In need of translation from English into Sanskrit
Hi there,
Can anyone translate a sentence from English into Sanskrit for an ex libris for me? The sentence is: This book belongs to Akkas or Abu Jar M Akkas or This is a book of Akkas or This one is from the books of Akkas or something like this, showing ownership of a book. I've figured out one, idam akkasasya pustakam or akkasasya pustakamidam. Is any of these is correct? I know there are some gender issues; I am a man. Thanks in advance, Akkas |

english into sanskrit for tattoo
Hi there, I have just joined this site because i am looking for a translation from english into sanskrit for a tattoo i intend to get at the weekend.
Having searched many websites I found this one and was greatly relieved and pleased when i saw that people were happy to translate sanskrit into english for various reasons. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me......I am looking to translate either "together forever" or something similar to "life love" or "you are my soul". I want the tattoo to symbolise the love between my husband and I but cannot think of short enough words to describe it....has anyone got any further ideas??? The problem being is that the tattoo is to be placed on the inside of my wrist so it has to be quite small, but also quite poignant. Any information, advice or translation would be extremely appreciated and helpful. Many thanks.... |
