Could someone please translate the word "children" into sanskrit?
I found sisava, but am not sure if that is correct. Thank you! |

Also, does anyone know how to pronounce the sanskrit प्रियशिशु and spell it in English. I think it means loved child. If anyone can clarify for me I would be very grateful.
Thank you! |

I've also received the following translations for "Children". I am trying to be very conscious of the subtleties in the language. This is for an organization that supports children so I want to ensure the best (most positive) meaning and have an appealing sound to the name when pronounced outloud.
~Kumara ~Bala ~Javani ~Yuvatha ~Shishu ~Baal ~Child in Sanskrit is "Shishuvu" (or may be pronounced as "sisuvu", but I feel the former is better) ~Bolay Also, does the word "sisava" mean anything in sanskrit? Any clarification or advice would be appreciated. |
