My proposal Fortitudo ingenii or Forte ingenium
Ingenium means character so mcmg's translations are more precise than mine. Although "fortitudo" all alone can be translated into strength of character here are mcmg's proposals literally translated into English: Fortitudo ingenii - strength of character, Forte ingenium - a strong character. Fortitudo all alone can be translated into strength, courage, valor; firmness. Pick the translation you like the best, aceofspades105. Off topic: Mcmg, If you (or Lina) have got the time please look at this old thread: Latin Translation - HELP I only answered Kylie's first question because I wasn't sure about the best way of translating the second one (look forward with a smile and no regrets of the past). I know you can come up with a good translation. |
