Welcome to the forum, actually to my knowledge i don't think "def" exist in latin, there are many latin words starting with def but not "def" itself.
welcome to the forum and waiting in case someone has a better answer

There is no Latin word "def". Latin words end in either a vowel, or the consonants b, c, d, l, m, n, r, s, t or x.
