I have some questions about some corrections I received regarding some sentences I translated into Latin. In these sentences I only received corrections on the verb portion of the sentences. Not the other portions. So, my questions are about the verbs only.
my question -> 4. a. how do you know if a verb has a supine form or not? b. why did you mention that ‘aegreo’ doesn’t have a supine here? Even if it did it wouldn’t be used here, right? There’s no verb of motion here for a supine verb to go with… c. shouldn’t ‘fui’ be ‘fuit’ ?
my question -> 5. a. so when expressing ‘to be sick’ in Latin, I can choose either ‘aegreo’ or ‘aegroto’ as long as the verb I choose has the corresponding tense that I want to use it with. <-- is that correct? what do I type in to find the conjugations of ‘aegreo’? b. ‘aegreo’ may not have a perfect tense but ‘aegroto’ does. Why didn’t you use the perfect tense for ‘aegroto’ instead of the imperfect tense? You could have simply used the imperfect tense of ‘aegreo’ with using a different verb at all, just switch the tenses, right?
my question -> 11. when I was looking for the different conjugations ‘recubo’ two different sites I used produced different results for the first time. One of these sites is incorrect. Can you please verify which one.
A. here ‘recubaveram’ isn’t recognized a conjugation of ‘recubo’

my question -> 12. why is the pluperfect used here vice the future perfect tense?
