Orthodox service in Notre-Dame

The most important and wonderful event of the week to my mind. The patriarch of Russian Orthodox Church Alexy II finished a service in Notre-Dame cathedral, Paris.

Alexy II also made a speech in Council of Europe appealing to people's morality and conscience.
It is pleasant to know that Russian Orthodox Church becomes more influential and authoritative in the world after the reunification with dioceses outside Russia. The celebration of this events takes place worldwide and the visit of patriarch to Paris is a part of celebration events.
