Petite aide de correction en anglais
Je voudrais faire un topo sur les radars automatiques dans mon site. Mais mon anglais est un peu pauvre.
Merci à tous ceux qui m'aideront.
It was one year ago: the first automatic radar was installed in Essonne. Today, we count some more than 120 in all France.
1,2 million noted infringements, a significant reduction of the number of killed on the roads, a revenue from taxes of about 100 million euros in one year, an average of 100 statement per day and radar... The new apparatuses installed one year ago made their job. Today, even if the rate/rhythm of the installations is very late compared to the forecasts, one counts more than 120 fixed installations on the roads of France and approximately 80 mobile radars embarked in unmarked police cars. Here their sites, area by area. For your safety (and your wallet), raise the foot.
The photo is directly sent via a connection ADSL made safe to a computerized processing center located in Lille, which draws up and sends reports under 48 hours. However, all the process entirely is not automated, since the photographs are, according to the ministry for the French Interior, systematically not checked by an operator, which does not prevent certain errors.
1. Vehicle exceeded authorized speed
2. Radar detects excess and takes the photograph automatically
3. Photo is coded and automatically sent to the national center of treatment of Lille
4. In the national center of treatment, the photo’s decoding and number plate’s reading are done. On the photo figure all elements : indication speed, dates, hour...
5. Research in national file of registrations, file of stolen vehicles, file of hirers out...
6. Once the vehicle is identified fine is published and sent automatically by the Post office, under the control of a legal senior police officer
7. The owner of the vehicle receives the fine
The owner have 3 possibility :
8. He pays the fine in the fines center of Rennes, by telephone, Internet, cheque, or by stamp amends
9. He disputes and sends a justified letter to the OMP (officer of the public ministry) after consignment of a sum equal to the amount of the fine (payment of the fine by anticipation)
The OMP appreciates reasons : the fine is refunded
He refuses the demand and the affair is sent in a police court
10. He is not the author of the infringement and he indicates the contravening driver
OMP addresses the fine to the concerned person. If this one disputes the affair is sent in a police court
