How much does Stanciu know
We are publishing in the today's issue the entire threatening letter sent by Sorin Stanciu, who was detained by the prosecutor's office of Bucharest for blackmailing and then arrested by the judges. The letter targets Ana Maria Cristina, state secretary and chief of the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investments. Although she was targeted, the written and phone messages were sent to Miniprix company's address or phoned to Olga Bahna, the new general manager of the company.
The period aimed at by the blackmailer is 1994-2004 when Ana Maria Cristina occupied the position Bahna currently occupies. The letters contain information (either real or false, nobody will check that now) supplied by Stanciu's concubine, Iuliana Cule, the supervisor of the Miniprix store in Otopeni. Although the messages are dated February 2004, charges were officially filed only in May 4th, 2006.
