34 C isn't too hot to me, since it's hot and dry, not hot and humid in HK, when 34 C is really unbearble, feeling you're in a steaming pot.
I've experienced 38 degrees in Italy, but I can't imagine 44 C in Germany. I saw on TV some foreign tours had to change their itinerary because of the heat.
In fact, not just in Europe, but all over the world.
