I've discussed this with my Moroccan and Tunisian friends and it doesn't make sense to us to create artificial culinary markers based on national boundaries. I think it's better to look at regions and different historical threads.
There is very little information about Magrhebi cuisine in English.
What do the other Maghrebis here thing about this? Also I'm interested in discussing our cuisine. We are planning a trip to North Africa next year hopefully. I cry thinking about going back like a melodramatic Maghrebi!

c'est Kawtar , je suis marocaine de Casablanca , je suis trés interessée à ce sujet , c'est vrai que notre pays a une grande culture et à par cette culture les traditions qui comptent la cuisine marocaine , les plats marocains sont différents , chaque endroit a ses repas principals mais les communs repas qu'on ne peut pas oublier c'est le couscous et le tagine et même lharira
c'est trés délécieu si tu veux n'importe qu'elle recette marocaine , n'hésite pas à me demander , car j'ai une soeur qui est chef cuisinière dans un hôtel 5 étoiles à Marrakech , elle est profissionnelle ds les recettes marocaines , je peux demander à elle les ingrédients et même la façon . et moi je peux les écrire par message ds le forum ou bien envoyer par mail si tu veux . ce n'est pas un problème je suis serviable et ça me fait plaisir de servir les gens .
