How about tarts and cakes, like strawberry tarts? I've seldom seen shops selling desserts in France, in fact, though yr country is famous for desserts.
Also dried preserved duck meat, as I'd seen in the hallway of the Metro, I guess my dad would love it. The usual HK tourist would be lining up in front of Louis Vuitton but not me.
