Hey guys,

"Herrlichkeit oder Tod" is not an expression in German...
An equivalent to "Glory or Die" would be "Sieg oder sterben" which was an expression widely used during WWII. although as already pointed out, "Sieg" is victory....
Glory translates rather to "Ruhm" or "Ehre" than "Herrlichkeit" in this context.
we actually have an expression "Ruhm und Ehre" but as you can see, that doesn't include the possible negative outcome of above saying
i would suggest you to stick to "Sieg oder sterben"/"siegen oder sterben"/"Sieg oder Tod"
there's just no absolute equivalent to "Glory or die"...
