Sorry hdiphas but modern cultures have adopted atheism (USSR, PRC, North Korea etc) because it fits with their Leninist ideologies, don't they qualify as people? By the way if you're a Jehova’s Witness I’m not picking a fight with you guys I just wanted clarification
PS If you go back to the 19th century the Hova in Madagascar didn't believe in god/s either and had no organised religion.
